Maria Crimi Speth, Esq. of Jaburg & Wilk, P.C. is representing RipOffReport.com in a strategic lawsuit against public participation (SLAPP), against our “Ripoff Report Revolution” boycott action, which is a legitimate boycott protected under the first amendment of the United States.
Case: Ripoff report vs. Common Decency, Inc [CV2013-012936 Maricopa County Arizona] |
Today, at a status meeting Attorney Chris Ingle, counsel for Common Decency, Inc. and Michael Roberts, made an appearance for the first time. Waiting in the public gallery was an FBI agent.
Ripoffreport’s attorney, Maria Speth, told attorney Chris Ingle that she received an email with the message “what’s that smell” (or words to that effect), and had attached thereto was a picture of a bomb.
According to Mr. Ingle, Maria Speth suspects it was sent by Michael Roberts (one of our boycott’s original organizers), whom the they recently sued (unsuccessfully) for injunctive relief in this action.
A Pattern Of False Allegations Emerges
It seems that there is a pattern emerging, in that there was two other false death threats allegedly filed with Mesa police in AZ some years ago.
